Imagine Never Brushing Your Hair ...

Wouldn't be very pleasant at all, right?  Now imagine your entire body was covered in a thick coat of it!

Your dog needs regular grooming to keep healthy

Just as you feel better when you are clean, tidy and healthy, so too will your dog. You should start when he is very young and try to make it as much fun as possible. Give him a treat when you're finished and tell him "Good Boy!".

If you can get your dog to enjoy grooming time it will make the next 15 years of grooming much, much easier and less time consuming because he won't run away and you won't have to catch him!

Using a soft brush, brush in the same direction that the hair goes. Make sure to brush everywhere, especially behind his ears, on his stomach, his tail and his back legs.

Reading about your specific breed will help you to know how to brush your dog correctly.
